摘要: Adrenomedullin (AM) is a peptide involved in blood pressure regulation. AM exerts its effects through the activation of three receptors, type 1 (AM1), 2 (AM2) and calcitonin gene-related (CGRP1) receptors. triggers several signaling pathways such as adenylyl cyclase (AC), guanylyl (GC), extracellular signalregulated kinases (ERK) modulates reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism. In brain, their receptors are expressed localized areas, including cerebellum. has been reported an antioxidant. Recent evidence suggests presence adrenomedullinergic angiotensinergic system physiological relevance cerebellum vermis. To establish role regulation cerebellar ROS metabolism, it was assessed effect angiotensin II (ANG II) on antioxidant enzymes activity: catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) superoxide dismutase (SOD), thiobarbituric acid substances (TBARS) production rat The findings demonstrated that vermis, decreased ANG increased CAT, GPx SOD activity TBARS production. Likewise, antagonized II-induced increase enzyme activity. AM(22-50) CGRP(8-37) blunted AM-induced decrease indicating these actions mediated CGRP1 Further, PKA inhibitor (PKAi) action whilst apocynin chelerythrine reverted action, suggesting stimulation protein kinase A (PKA) activity, while occurs C/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase (PKC/NAD(P)H oxidase) pathway.
