摘要: Abstract Spirogermabifluorene (C24H16Ge, 1) and the anionic products of its reduction with alkali metals were prepared investigated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A monoanionic intermediate product reduction, formed upon cleavage a Ge–C bond proton abstraction from solvent, was isolated in form cesium salt, [Cs+(diglyme)(C12H8GeC12H9−)] (2). Structural investigation 2 revealed presence tricoordinated germanium center complexation cation two aromatic moieties. The 1 an excess leads to second subsequent elimination biphenyl give C12H8Ge2− dianion which crystallized as sodium adduct, [{Na+(THF)}2(C12H8Ge2−)] (3). structural elucidation for complex 3 shows η3- η5-coordinations ions π-system dianions. resulting Na⋯C Na⋯Ge contacts along Na⋯OTHF interactions lead formation zigzag polymeric chains crystal lattice 3.
