摘要: Abstract Hydrometallurgy is a promising alternative to treat copper concentrates that contain large amounts of enargite (Cu3AsS4). However, leaching difficult due its slow dissolution rate in acidic solutions. The pressure an concentrate containing about 40% pyrite was carried out sulfuric acid/oxygen at temperatures the range 160 200 °C and oxygen partial 345 1034 kPa. results showed presence considerably faster than pure enargite. By enargite–pyrite sample particle size −75 + 53 μm 689 kPa O2, all extracted 15 min. It also found temperature, had significant influence on from concentrate, while acid concentration little effect. Ferric ions produced were responsible for enhanced similarly by addition ferrous ions. Analysis data linear kinetics pyrite, whilst increased substantially with time as ferric build up solution.
