摘要: Algae in drinking water supplies often bring about impact on the treatment. In this study, a bipolar pulsed dielectric barrier discharge system three-phase plasma reactor was constructed for investigating its ability to control excessive growth of cyanobacteria, Microcystis aeruginosa. Experimental results show there almost no change optical density immediately after interruption electrical discharge, but decreasing trend density, cell and chlorophyll-a content obvious during incubation period, indicating significant residual effect process algal inhibition. Scanning electron microscopy investigation algae revealed surface damage, apparent leakage intracellular contents pores formed process, which showed that cells had potential survive grow. Compared with sample, it observed extracellular products has rate slightly decreased before three days storage. Hydrogen peroxide produced by μM level first-order decay. But at such level, external addition hydrogen alone is not likely cause effect. These implicated inhibition M. aeruginosa mainly caused made lose survive, demonstrating considerable an alternative efficient purification.
