Dinucleus: A doorway to heavy-ion fusion

摘要: Heavy-ion fusion reactions of light and medium systems have been analyzed within a two-step compound model involving dinucleus, coupled to particle breakup channels, as well the equilibrated nucleus. The fused configuration is reached from entrance channel only via dinucleus. resulting cross sections, defined summed particle-emission sections system, are in reasonable agreement with data.
