摘要: The European mink (Mustela lutreola) is among the most endangered mammals in Europe and has been assigned with CR (Critically Endangered) status. In Russia disappeared from of its former range; population extremely small. near future it will need to be reintroduced into habitats using captive-raised animals. This work investigates exploratory behavior captive- raised minks. research was conducted nursery Ilmen Nature Reserve. Thirty minks different ages (from 4.5 months up 7 years; 17 females 13 males) participated experiments. It shown that who have lived cages or enclosures for several generations continue exhibit pronounced dispersion parameters. They maintained ability quickly explore unfamiliar territory find shelter. There are no differences between males length distance covered test. Age does not affect activity respect exploration finding Differences division groups according number crossed squares within sexes were determined by personality Individual features prevailed over group characteristics (sex age). Despite continuous contact staff, did acquire adaptation people.
