Surface Tension of Binary Mixtures of 2,2,4-Trimethylpentane +1-Alkanols from 298.15 to 323.15 K

摘要: Surface tension of binary systems 2,2,4- trimethylpentane with 1-alkanols (ethanol, 1-propanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, or 1-heptanol) were measured at several different temperature and atmospheric pressure over the whole range composition using surface laser light scattering method, combined expanded uncertainties are less than 1%. The excess tensions, σE, for these mixtures calculated fitted to Redlich–Kister type equation, regression parameters standard deviations fitting given. All σE values negative decrease increasing. tensions also used estimate entropy, Sσ, enthalpy, Hσ. These results may be useful development hydrocarbon fuels.
