摘要: In a proximal humerus resection for bone tumor, the use of an osteoarticular allograft is considered best restoration shoulder function. We retrospectively reviewed outcomes 31 patients who had intraarticular tumor. Twenty-three allografts were filled with cement. The average followup was 5.3 years. Of more than 24 months followup, seven revision surgery or removal allograft. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that probability survival reconstruction 78% at 5 Fracture main complication in 11 (37%) whom noncemented group. Four these successful conversion to allograft-prosthetic composite, whereas one patient new Allografts cement four fractures (18%); three subchondral discovered by routine CT scans. None pain needed surgery. Osteochondral replacement reliable reconstructive technique if augmented filling intramedullary space Moreover, are less expensive and technically easier composites.
