Study of the localization and Cooper pair breaking in Tl1-xErxBa2Ca2Cu3O9-δ

摘要: A series of high-temperature superconductors type Tl1-xErxBa2Ca2Cu3O9-δ with x ranging from 0 to 0.3 are prepared at 860 °C for 3.5 h. The x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and electrical resistivity measurements the samples reported. data indicate that replacement Tl3+ ions by magnetic Er3+ does not change structure until = solubility limit is found be around xs 0.2. transition temperature Tc, determined data, show a depression in its value increasing Er content. Tc explained be, according Abrikosov Gor'kov model, due breaking pairs or localization effect. critical content ions, which superconductivity disappears, estimated xc 0.28.
