摘要: INTRODUCTION Few studies have examined the correlates of objectively measured amounts sedentary time and physical activity in young children. We evaluated demographic, biological, behavioral, social, environmental amount moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA) as by accelerometry preschool-aged METHODS obtained baseline measurements using an Actical accelerometer among 337 children (aged 2-5) overweight or obese mothers. For children, we defined less than 12 counts per 15 seconds MVPA 715 more seconds. Body mass index mother child (calculated from height weight) maternal were included potential correlates. Mothers self-reported all other used multivariable linear regression analyses to examine MVPA. RESULTS Children had average 6.1 hours day 14.9 minutes In analysis, boys (P $60,000/y [P = .005]), who spent outdoors .001) CONCLUSION Both modifiable nonmodifiable factors correlated with preschool children's MVPA, which can be helpful when designing interventions for this age group. The lack indicates need further investigation into behavior.
