摘要: Background Adolescence is a decisive period in human life due to the multiple physiological and psychological changes that take place. These will condition both nutritional requirements eating/physical activity behavior. It has been demonstrated these "adolescence" factors are of significant influence health status during adult life. Due its importance adequate development project granted by Fondo de Investigacion Sanitaria Institute Health Carlos III. Objective To develop methodology evaluate representative population Spanish adolescents. Specific attention paid three specific problems: obesity, anorexia nervosa/bulimia, dislipidemia. Methodology The following magnitudes be studied: 1) dietary intake, food habits nutrition knowledge; 2) daily physical personal approach; 3) condition; 4) anthropometry body composition; 5) hematobiochemical study: plasma lipid phenotypic metabolic profile, blood cell counts; 6) genotipic profile cardiovascular risk factors; 7) immune function related status; 8) profile. Conclusion This includes co-ordinate five centers different cities (Granada, Madrid, Murcia, Santander, Zaragoza). Each center specialized area responsible for corresponding part study. From data obtained, we elaborate intervention program order improve neutralize problems adolescence. By this, contribute new millennium.
