Role of bronchoscopy in modern medical intensive care unit.

摘要: This article gives a broad overview of the increasingly important applications bronchoscopy, flexible (FOB) and rigid (RB), in modern medical intensive care unit. Special emphasis is made to bronchoscopy use mechanically ventilated patients. Therapies such as endobronchial stenting Nd:YAG laser are being used improve respiratory failure facilitate weaning from mechanical ventilation. Practical recent advancements technology (endobronchial stenting, therapy, so forth), increasing new generation bronchoscopes like battery bronchoscopes, ultra-thin also discussed. The risks, potential benefits, complications, suggested technique performing patients reviewed.
