摘要: Integrins form a family of membrane-spanning cell-surface proteins that promote cell-cell or cell-matrix adhesion and integrate the pericellular matrix to cytoskeleton. are believed be involved in differentiation tissues during development. They relationship tumor cells may on other hand reflect status cells. In this study, we evaluated immunohistochemically distribution VLA integrins (alpha 1 alpha 6 chains beta integrins) representative selection normal 110 solid tumors. simple epithelia, VLA2 VLA3 were usually uniformly present epithelial cells, whereas ductal stratified epithelia they seen predominantly basal/myoepithelial VLA6 was basal aspect polar manner. carcinomas, variably expressed, showing either cellular islands generalized widespread rarely being absent. also components epitheliomesenchymal VLA1 VLA5 widely distributed benign malignant mesenchymal tumors desmoplastic stroma carcinomas. not except myoepithelia breast occasionally poorly differentiated carcinoma Mesenchymal cell/tumor types had characteristic patterns integrins; for example, smooth muscle its showed VLA1, 3, 5, schwannomas 2, 3 6. Endothelial angiosarcomas multiple VLA-types: similar leiomyosarcomas, moderate extensive reduction expression VLA2, respectively, occurred. The results show (beta 1) cell lineage-dependent potentially useful tool typing.
