摘要: In vivo rabbit data for skin irritation registered in the European New Chemicals Database (NCD) and an ECETOC were evaluated to characterise distribution of potential among chemicals assess variability animal test. These databases could be used determine experimental rudimentarily within-laboratory variability, but not between-laboratory variability. Our evaluation suggests that is small. Using two classification systems--the system currently Europe Globally Harmonised System (GHS)--the prevalence obtained from NCD was analysed. This analysis revealed out 3121 tested, less than 10% showed rabbits which would require appropriate hazard label 64% did cause any irritation. Furthermore, it appears practical use introduces bias towards overclassification. Based on these findings, we conclude, systems should refined taking into account. Additionally, incorporated design validation studies vitro test methods definition testing strategies.
