摘要: Abstract Two novel Ag-based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) [Ag 2 (O-IPA)(H O)·(H 3 O)] ( 1 ) and 5 (PYDC) (OH)] were synthesized under the hydrothermal conditions using aromatic–carboxylic acids containing hydroxyl pyridyl groups as ligands (HO-H IPA = 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid H PYDC = pyridine-3, 5-dicarboxylic acid). Single crystal X-ray diffraction indicated that two compounds exhibit three-dimensional constructed from different rod-shaped molecular building blocks. Both favor slow release of Ag + ions leading to excellent long-term antimicrobial activities towards Gram-negative bacteria, Escherichia coli E. Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus S. ). Their antibacterial potency was evaluated by a minimal inhibition concentration (MIC) benchmark an zone testing. High-resolution transmission electron microscope images indicate MOFs could rupture bacterial membrane resulting in cell death. Hematological study showed these good biocompatibility mice. In addition, thermal stability optical UV–visible visible light are beneficial for their application.
