摘要: Most cases of infective endocarditis (IE) are caused by gram-positive bacteria such as enterococci, streptococci, and staphylococci. Increasing resistance among these organisms has eroded the utility mainstay antibiotics complicated management this difficult-to-treat infection. Clinical experience with newer to treat IE is limited.
