摘要: The hypolipidemic activities of high (712.6 kDa) and low (39.8 molecular weight chitosan (HMWC LMWC) were evaluated in rats fed high-fat diets. Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley four groups on three diets with each them containing HMWC, LMWC or cellulose (high-fat control), a control normal-fat diet for eight weeks. Compared HMWC group, group showed decreased body gain, serum total cholesterol (TC) low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), as well liver triglyceride (TG). Fecal fat was lower than those group. However, the lipase (LPL) increased compared obtained results suggested that activity better which might be partially attributed to increase LPL activities.
