Liver irradiation in children: acute changes with transient leukopenia and thrombocytopenia.

摘要: Four patients are described who have manifested unusual reactions to combined irradiation and chemotherapy when of the liver was involved. Two had partial resection all remaining tissue; each others, with an intact liver, may compromise function by infection and/or lower dose left lobe liver.We suggest that especially in receive chemotherapeutic agents which require for detoxification or excretion, be very carefully administered, even at a minimal dose. Any underlying must evaluated carefully. In patient, hemoglobin levels were normal throughout clinical course.
