摘要: Determinants of parasite species richness have been investigated in a host-parasite system comprising fish the family Sparidae and their monogenean gill ectoparasites genus Lamellodiscus. This study was carried out on small geographical scale northwestern Mediterranean Sea. Host phylogenetic relationships were taken into account by eigenvector regression which required reconstruction tree for sparid using mtDNA sequences. Several ecological variables potentially acting Lamellodiscus considered. body size host migratory behaviour appeared to be main determinants this system. It is concluded that structuring communities controlled more than evolutionary factors.
