摘要: Dermanyssus gallinae (D.gallinae) infestation causes economic losses due to impaired health and production of hens costs parasite control across the world. Moreover, infestations are associated with reduced welfare may cause itching in humans. To effectively implement methods it is crucially important have high quality information about D.gallinae populations poultry houses space time. At present no validated tool available quantitatively monitor dynamics all four stages (i.e., eggs, larvae, nymphs, adults) houses. This article describes experimental validation AVIVET trap, a device infestations. We used study fully equipped cages two white specific pathogen free Leghorn laying experimentally exposed three different levels (low high). The trap was successfully able detect at (5,000 D.gallinae), medium (2,500 low (50 D.gallinae) level infestation. The linear equation Y = 10∧10∧(0.47 + 1.21X) log10 (Total number nymphs cage X explained 93.8% variation. The weight also appears be reliable parameter for quantifying house. correlates 99.6% (P < 0.000) counted indicating that highly specific. From this experiment can concluded promising as quantitative monitoring
