摘要: Immobilization methods have been successfully used for the immobilization of enzymes industrial purposes. More recently, microorganisms whole cells has developed in many laboratories and also processes. According to Mattiasson (1983) immobilized cell preparations offer some advantages over conventional preparation technology that can be summarised as follows: 1) higher reaction rates due increased densities; 2) specific product yield; 3) possibilities continuous operation; 4) high dilution without problems wash out; 5) better easier control; 6) reduced demands costly fermentors; 7) up-grading.
