摘要: Aim To investigate impulsive behaviors in pathological buying (PB). Methods The study included three groups matched for age and gender: treatment seeking outpatients with PB (PB+), psychiatric inpatients without (PB-), a healthy control group (HC). was assessed by means of the Compulsive Buying Scale impulse disorder (ICD) module research version Structured Clinical Interview DSM-IV (SCID-ICD). All participants answered questionnaires concerning symptoms borderline personality disorder, self-harming behaviors, binge eating attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD). In addition, comorbid ICDs were using SCID-ICD. Results PB+ PB- did not differ regard to or ADHD symptoms, but both reported significantly more than HC group. Frequencies between groups. Patients often diagnosed any current ICD (excluding PB) compared those (38.7% vs. 12.9% 12.9%, respectively, p=.017). Discussion Our findings confirm prior suggesting patients controls. results questionnaire-based assessment indicate that perceive themselves equally self-harm as frequently PB; they seem suffer from an interview.
