摘要: Abstract A clostridium was isolated from mud by the enrichment culture technique using dimethyl-β-propiothetin as major source of carbon. Growth organism required, in addition, presence small amounts yeast extract. fermentation balance obtained washed cell suspensions indicates that decomposition takes place according to following equation: Lactic acid, acrylic β-alanine, and α-alanine are fermented propionic acetic acids ratio 2:1, while pyruvic acid is 1:2. This contains enzyme acrylyl Co aminase. possible relation this Clostridium propionicum discussed.
