摘要: Records from two breeding colonies (A and B) located near each other were analyzed for this experiment. Colony A consisted of 19 bitches (8 Maltese, 5 Yorkshire, 3 Lhasa Apso, Bouvier des Flandres), while B 48 Beagle bitches. total 126 interestrous intervals (141 estrous cycles) reviewed to quantitate the variability interval. Analysis variance showed that degree variation cycle length within (65%) was about twice means among (35%). It found is extremely variable, it cannot be used predict next estrus in a single bitch, although some very consistent. The seasonal monthly distribution cycles throughout year also kept Colonies 210 cycles. data collected over four-year period. pattern observed when cumulative distributions years analyzed. higher frequency during winter summer. This seasonality not individual separately. However, overall probability an would occur at any month same (1/12)
