摘要: It has previously been reported that benign partial epilepsy in infancy constitutes up to 29% of the epilepsies presenting first 2 years life. To determine proportion our population, we retrospectively reviewed 331 patients with greater than two afebrile seizures life between 1993 and 2000. Inclusion criteria were (1) or without secondary generalization, (2) normal development, (3) no other neurologic abnormalities, (4) interictal electroencephalograms (EEGs), (5) good response treatment. Exclusion included caused by acute central nervous system insult, occurred only within month life, lasted longer 30 minutes. Of patients, 22 (6.6%) fulfilled a minimum mean 4 follow-up off antiepilepsy drug Six (27%) had complex seizures, 16 (73%) generalization. Neuroimaging studies all patients. 6 ictal EEGs, 3 temporal lobe focus, 1 an occipital remaining dual foci. Median onset was 4.0 months (range 0.8-9.3). Seizures remitted 20 (91%). Mean duration seizure persistence 2.1 0-8.3) treated age at last 6.4 2-18). Nineteen drugs. At (mean 52.2 months), free Benign is syndrome short easily recognized using accepted classification criteria. appears be idiopathic localization-related favorable prognosis. The incidence population not as common reported. Based on findings, suggest weaning drugs after onset.
