摘要: In this paper we show that solid nitrogen has considerably enhanced elastic properties in the nanopores of a porous glass. Particularly, first adsorbed molecular layer near pore wall possesses shear modulus more than twice as high bulk modulus. The interaction between surface and filling provides mean for enhancement properties. Our discovery shows nanoconfinement samples can be used to influence mechanical substances.
