摘要: We have measured sorption isotherms and determined the intrinsic longitudinal elastic modulus βAr,ads of nanoconfined material via ultrasonic measurements combined with a special effective medium analysis. In liquid regime adsorbate only contributes to properties when pores are completely filled is bulklike. At partial fillings its contribution cancelled out by high compressibility vapour phase. contrast, at lower temperatures frozen argon as well underlying surface layers cause linear increase upon filling. During near pore wall βAr,surf increases thickness solid reaching bulk value βAr,liquid in limit complete interpret this effect due gradual stiffening membrane. The their analysis show that waves suited study liquid–solid phase transitions porous systems. This method should also help detect influence nanoconfinement on further research.
