摘要: Abstract A magnetoelastic immunosensor for detection of staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) is described. The sensor a newly developed mass/elasticity-based transducer high sensitivity having material cost approximately $0.001/sensor. Affinity-purified rabbit anti-SEB antibody was covalently immobilized on sensors, dimensions 6 mm ×2 ×28 μm . affinity reaction biotin–avidin and biocatalytic precipitation are used to amplify antigen–antibody binding events the surface. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) alkaline phosphatase were examined as labeled enzymes induce precipitation. substrate, 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl phosphate (BCIP) produces dimer, which binds tightly surface, inducing change in resonance frequency. biosensor demonstrates linear shift frequency with concentration between 0.5 5 ng/ml, limit 0.5 ng/ml.
