摘要: Purpose: to study the changes in pharyngeal behavior after laser uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (LUPPP)Material and Methods: dynamic upper airway size were evaluated with digital fluoroscopy 24 patients obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) before LUPPP 16 normal controls, while they awake breathing normally. Cephalometric measurements also made. classified into categories of good poor responders by means a static-charge-sensitive bedResults: Following LUPPP, collapsibility at velopharyngeal level was within range 15 17 responders, but only 2 7 (p=0.0086). minimum same showed similar trend. 3 hyoid bone positioned more caudally than (p=0.017)Conclusion: Digital provides information on change
