Onderstepoort Journal Veterinary Research, 58,27-32 (1991) Free-living were collected by means drag-sampling 32 35 landscape zones Park during a period 1 calendar month. Of 18 199 specimens collected, 99,53% larvae, 0,05 % nymphs and 0,42 adults. Fourteen species collected. Amblyomma hebraeum followed Boophilus decoloratus, predominated, both m distribution abundance. Large variations encountered between drags. There was no correlation numbers larvae time day, temperature, grass length, vegetation biomass estimates subzone type.
