摘要: The effects of green signal countdown display (GSCD) on driver behavior were researched from two aspects: space and time. This study aimed to compare analyze driving affected by using GSCD at signalized intersections the approach field investigation for acquiring data. research results showed that average speed crossing stop line was higher with GSCD, but proportion high relatively reduced, which indicated not only good traffic efficiency also safety. reason more conservative drivers tended maintain speeds without GSCD. In addition, displays can reduce start-up lost time unify ensure vehicles leave intersection a steady speed.
