摘要: During sepsis, the liver plays a key role. It is implicated in host response, participating clearance of infectious agents/products. Sepsis also induces damage through hemodynamic alterations or direct indirect assault on hepatocytes both. Accordingly, dysfunction induced by sepsis recognized as one components that contribute to severity disease. Nevertheless, incidence remains imprecise, probably because current diagnostic tools are lacking, notably those can detect early insult. In this review, we discuss epidemiology, tools, and impact outcome well pathophysiological aspects, including cellular events clinical picture leading dysfunction. Finally, therapeutic considerations with regard weakness pertinent specific approach examined.
