摘要: Chronic Periodontitis (CP) is a common inflammatory disease affects supporting tissues of the teeth and can lead to tooth loss. The objective this study was determine relationship between polymorphisms in IL-28B gene chronic periodontitis an Iranian population. Two hundred ten CP patients one healthy subjects were enrolled present case-control study. rs12979860 rs8099917 SNPs identified using RFLP T-ARMS-PCR methods respectively. SNP analysis revealed that G allele T increased susceptibility compared A C (p < 0.0001, OR = 2.712, CI = 1.783-4.126; p < 0.0001, OR = 2.538, CI = 1.784-3.613 respectively). In addition, CT/GT, TT/GG TT/GT haplotypes predominant significantly associated with risk CP. may be useful predictive factors for correlated infection our
