摘要: Crystallization kinetics behavior and morphology of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) blended with 2–10 wt% loadings poly(L- D-lactic acid) (PLLA PDLA) stereocomplex crystallites, as biodegradable nucleating agents, were studied using differential scanning calorimetry, polarizing-light optical microscopy (POM), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). Blending PLLA PDLA at 1:1 weight ratio led to formation stereocomplexed PLA (sc-PLA), which was incorporated small crystalline nuclei into PHB for investigating melt-crystallization kinetics. The Avrami equation used analyze the isothermal crystallization PHB. crystallites acted nucleation sites in blends accelerated rates by increasing rate constant k decreasing half-time (t1/2). nucleated most effectively 10 evidenced byPOM results. sc-PLA complexes (nucleated crystals) exhibit much spherulite sizes but possess same crystal cell that neat based on WAXD result.
