摘要: Oxidative damage promotes atherosclerosis. SOD2 is an important antioxidant enzyme. A case–control study and a meta-analysis were performed to assess the association of C47T polymorphism in gene with premature, late-onset overall coronary artery disease (CAD) risk. hospital-based was conducted 269 premature CAD cases, 278 cases 299 healthy controls. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Pyrosequencing used detect polymorphism. Multinomial logistic regression model estimate odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) adjust potential confounders. using eight outcomes including our result. Fixed or random effect pooled measure selected on basis homogeneity test among studies. Heterogeneity studies evaluated I2. Meta-regression explore sources between-study heterogeneity. Publication bias estimated Peters’s linear test. In study, compared TT as reference, mutant genotype CC + TC significantly associated reduced risk both univariate (OR = 0.60, CI 0.41–0.87) multivariate 0.59, 0.40–0.87) regressions, but not After excluding one article that deviated from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium controls, this showed significant C allele dominant (FEM: OR 0.69, 0.61–0.78), recessive 0.64, 0.50–0.82), codominant 0.73, 0.65–0.80) models. Our suggested
