摘要: OBJECTIVES This study was performed to identify the prevalence, influence, and risk factors associated with chronic pain among Japanese industry workers. METHODS We investigated 2,544 participants working at a manufacturing company A, B, 16 branch shops of retail chain C. The responded self-administered questionnaires related pain. Furthermore, data obtained from lifestyle interview sheet an annual health screening examination those were merged. analyzed association between lifestyles, psychosocial factors, Age- sex-adjusted odds ratios calculated 95% confidence interval using logistic regression model. RESULTS Of participants, 1,914 (1,224 men 690 women) completed questionnaire, response rate 75.2%. prevalence over 3 months 42.7% that work disability 11.3%. A higher proportion obesity, smoking habit, insomnia, psychological stress, depressive state, workaholic nature, low social support supervisors coworkers, high job demand, control, dissatisfaction observed in workers than without CONCLUSIONS Several found. Obesity, habits, sleep disorders, workplace environment, mental state should be taken into account as issues general occupational health.
