摘要: High-spin states in the nucleus 72Ge were investigated via 70Zn(\( \alpha\), 2n)72Ge reaction at a beam energy of 30MeV, using AFRODITE spectrometer. One aim study was to search for tetrahedral states. There no evidence such our coincidence data. The existing decay scheme substantially revised and extended. Several \( \gamma\) -ray placements level spin-parities changed, some 30 new transitions added scheme. negative-parity rotational band identified. is likely unfavoured signature partner built on previously known \(\ensuremath I^{\pi}=3^{-}\) state 2515keV. two bands are interpreted as involving an aligned octupole vibration which evolves four-quasiparticle structure higher spins. upbend yrast AB neutron alignment. structures discussed with reference Cranked Shell Model calculations, angular momenta, experimental routhians, moments inertia.
