摘要: Osteosarcoma (OSA) is a primary bone neoplasm frequently diagnosed in dogs. The biology of OSA pet dogs identical to that pediatric patients, and it has been considered an excellent model vivo study human OSA. Since the individual response chemotherapy unpredictable considering propolis natural product with several biological properties, this work evaluated cytotoxic action on canine cells. cell culture was obtained from tumor dog Cell viability assessed after incubation propolis, 70% ethanol (propolis solvent), carboplatin 6, 24, 48, 72 h. analyzed by crystal violet method. Data showed cells were sensitive dose- time-dependent manner had distinct morphology compared control. Its solvent (70% ethanol) no effect viability, suggesting exclusively due propolis. Our sample exerted cells, its introduction as possible therapeutic agent could be investigated, providing new contribution treatment.
