Influence of acetic acid and ammonia catalyst on microstructure and properties of fluorinated polyimide-organosilicate hybrids

摘要: article This work investigates the preparation, microstructure and thermal/electrical properties of fluorinated polyimide-organosilicate hybrids utilizing acetic acid ammonia as catalysts for sol-gel process to grow organosilicate filler particles. Nano-scale was observed in base-catalyzed hybrids, which ascribed relative inertness base promoting hydrolysis reaction. postponed formation particles hence smaller particle size. Electrical measurements found that possess lower dielectric constants (κ=2.40 at nominal Si content=0.4 mol) due absence polar groups silica xerogels with high porosity samples. In both leakage current densities increase content. However, density hybrid higher than acid-catalyzed same content size highly porous feature embedded hybrids. © 2009 Elsevier B.V.
