Room-temperature ferromagnetism in nanocrystalline Fe-doped NiO powders synthesized by a simple direct thermal decomposition method

摘要: Room temperature ferromagnetism was observed in ∼26–34 nm of nanocrystalline Fe-doped NiO powders synthesized by a simple direct thermal decomposition method. The undoped and samples were thoroughly characterized using x-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDXs), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM). magnetic properties the prepared determined vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). pure exhibits antiferromagnetic behavior, whereas all are ferromagnetic having specific magnetizations ∼0.033–0.102 emu/g at 10 kOe. Our results indicate that property is intrinsic to system not result any secondary phase or cluster formation.
