摘要: This paper describes an airborne lidar instrument for detecting OH, using the technique of laser-induced fluorescence. The detection limit is determined mainly by shot noise solar background. For daytime measurements at 6100 m (20,000-ft) a about 1×106 OH/cm3 was obtained with 2-hour acquisition time under favorable conditions.
