Development of canine nephrotic syndrome model

摘要: To develop an experimental animal model for immune-mediated glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome, nine healthy dogs were sensitized by intravenous injection with 1 μg of endotoxin 5 mg native bovine serum albumin. After week, 120 cationized albumin was injected intravenously times a week. Among dogs, five confirmed as having developed syndrome increase urine protein-to-creatinine ratio (>1.0), hypoalbuminemia ( 240 mg/dl), edema. This should be useful studying syndrome.
