摘要: Abstract Alteration of the chemical composition stationary liquid as a method facilitating analysis higher fatty acid esters by gas-liquid chromatography was studied. A distinct relationship noted to exist between relative solubility saturated and unsaturated ester vapors in particular phase. When sebacate or azelate polyesters diethylene glycol were employed phases, separation linoleate from linolenate easily accomplished; however, stearate oleate bands frequently indistinguishable. variety high molecular weight, more polar alkyd resins made shorter chain dibasic acids found provide rapid superior separations biochemically important esters. By using columns containing Celite 545 coated with succinate polyester at 200°C it possible separate individual components mixtures ranging C 12 26 within 38 min.
