摘要: Objective.—To assess the level of satisfaction and determinants or dissatisfaction patients presenting in tertiary care, regard to their usual care (UC) for acute treatment migraine. Design/Methods.—Patients seen 3 headache centers were assessed by means 21 attributes related UC. Questions covered with efficacy (including onset relief, degree consistency action, ease use), tolerability (lack side effects overall, CNS effects, other effects), willingness continue using same medication change another medication. All questions answered on a 5-point scale (where 1 was strongly agree, 2 neutral, 4 disagree, 5 disagree). Results.—We 183 subjects (74.8% women, mean age = 39.3 years). UC consisted, as single drug combination, of: triptan conventional tablets – 62%; disintegrating 8%; sumatriptan nasal spray 9%; injection, nontriptans 19.6%. Most (54%) had no benefit within first hour treatment. The maximum took more than be reached 69%, hours 36%. After been reached, pain worsened 61%. Although 58% satisfied 37% dissatisfied speed effect, 50% recurrence pain, 42% need second dose. (56%). Finally, most (79.7%) said they willing try medication. Conclusions.—An important subset patients, including large subgroup triptans, is Clinical trials assessing patients' preference should conducted complement information from clinical trials.
