摘要: The short-wavelength bands generated in Rydberg matter (RM) formed by K atoms have been studied both an operating laser cavity and amplified emission the RM, with higher resolution than previously. Transitions down to principal quantum number n′′≥6 core ions identified previously infrared range, while transitions n′′=5 4 are now observed for of type n′′=7→4. Efficient down-conversion emitted wavelengths shorter 800 nm is found RM medium a process similar two-photon emission. From good description just one n′′, it concluded that single-electron coupled conduction band; two-electron processes as proposed not involved this wavelength range where change angular momentum relatively small.
