摘要: It is reported repeatedly that severe hepatocellular necrosis along with infiltration of neutrophils occurs after acute cadmium exposure. Neutrophils, which migrate by the gradient chemoattractants such as interleukin-8, are believed to play an important role in inflammation at damaged sites. To investigate whether aggravate or repair liver injury induced cadmium, we checked hepatotoxic effects on human interleukin-8 transgenic mice (hIL-8Tg), overexpressed IL-8 and displayed inability neutrophil migration resulting from both lack chemotactic downregulation l-selectin surface neutrophils. A significantly lower survival rate was observed hIL-8Tg compared wild-type subcutaneous administration cadmium. Evident characterized abrupt increases plasma GOT GPT levels found 18 h administration. Histological examinations, including H & E staining esterase staining, revealed numerous into tissues mice, inhibition well enhanced hIL-8Tg. Peripheral white blood cell polymorphonuclear counts increased reached their peaks 12 whereas increase leukocyte delayed There no significant difference amounts accumulated kidneys between In conclusion, effect exacerbated inhibited migration, suggesting migrated can prevent aggravation
