摘要: At any given time and location, plants encounter a flood of environmental stimuli. Diverse signal transduction pathways sense these stimuli generate diverse array responses. Calcium (Ca2+) is generated as second messenger due to responsible for transducing the signals downstream in pathway. A large number Ca2+ sensor-responder components are signaling plants. The complexes calcineurin B-like protein (CBL) CBL-interacting kinases (CIPKs) pivotal players Ca2+-mediated signaling. CIPKs hence mediate mainly by process phosphorylation. Elaborate studies conducted Arabidopsis have shown involvement CBL-CIPK abiotic biotic stresses, nutrient deficiency. Additionally, crop also indicated their role similar In this chapter, we review current literature on CBL CIPK network, shedding light into enzymatic property mechanism action complexes. We summarize various reports functional modulation targets modules across all plant species.
