摘要: Cellular Ca2+ signals are decoded by sensor proteins that relay the information into downstream responses. Ca2+-dependent protein kinases (CDPKs) Ser/Thr found only in plants and some protozoans. They responders have both sensing function kinase activity within one protein. In plants, CDPKs comprise a large gene family involved many diverse physiological processes. activated upon binding to their calmodulin-like domain with conformational change, which makes them effective switches for transduction of cells. Here we review remarkable progress has been made recent years, especially structure direct substrates CDPKs.
