摘要: Two dyneins can be extracted from Tetrahymena ciliary axonemes. The 22S dynein contains three heavy chains (HC), sediments at in a sucrose gradient, and makes up the outer arms. 14S two to six HCs, 14S, is thought contribute formation of inner We have identified large proteins that are axonemes with high salt sediment together approximately 18S. cleave when subjected UV light presence ATP vanadate, suggesting both HC. Antibodies against one 18S HCs do not recognize HCs. HC bind appreciably photocleavage fragments. Taken together, these results indicate axonemal chains.
