摘要: Exploration of health information-seeking behaviour among older adults with very low incomes is critical in shaping our understanding how information sought later life. Although studies have focused on people worldwide, subjective views adults, especially those Ghana remain scant. Thus, this study aimed to fill significant knowledge gap by exploring Ghana. In-depth interviews and focus group discussions were conducted 30 incomes, 15 caregivers formal healthcare providers the Atwima Nwabiagya District A thematic analytical framework was used analyse data. The revealed multiple sources include providers, family members, media friends. kind consisted diets, causes chronic non-communicable diseases medication dosage. also identified inadequate about benefits seeking information, perceived poor attitude communication problems as factors that limit from acquiring information. An adequate reliable source essential promoting people. Their inability secure right could further worsen their status. provides need for appropriate policy interventions types Healthcare are recommended open, friendly receptive allow them seek obtain they [healthcare providers] constitute most reliable source.
